Desperate for Money?

I thought I would put some of the so-called quick Internet money sites to the test. AND of the 4 I tried, and I gave it a good effort (considering my tendency towards adhd) only Amazon Mechanical Turk and sendearnings.com showed any promise. Amazon Mechanical Turk is definitely the more consistent of the 2... but the harder earner. I had to work HARD to make $2.00!

#1) Amazon Mechanical Turk

Mechanical Turk is basically a method of employers to find people who will work for pennies performing Internet services that are best done by humans. Basically, you make about 1 dollar per hour if you really put your time in. AND, you don’t waste any time with the high $10.00 or $15.00 dollar jobs. These are usually scams, asking you to post something on Craigs list. I tried this and while I was able to post the ads, I never got paid or approved. A lot of work for no return, because Craigslist frowns upon these types of entries. However, there are plenty of .43 or .67 cent jobs. You can do one every few minutes with a high speed connection and you can make real money.

Beware of the Turk Scams, seemed like anything over $5.00 was a scam and while I followed all of the instructions, I never got paid and they got my email, and the address I was using.Look for the lower money but legitimate ads like, assigning categories to rss feeds or websites.

SendMoreInfo.com: This is a highly publicized method for earning income and yet, many people fall for scams and flimflams! This company is legitimate and has been paying individuals for reading emails since 1999. What they do is send you emails, then you click on the link within the email. Each click sends a “share” to your account. At the end of the month a portion of the companies ad earnings are assigned to the shares and your shares then become earnings. It’s easy and while it doesn’t product immediate revenue, it is a legitimate opportunity.

Sendearnings.com: Now here is an opportunity that I can sink my teeth into. I joined (and automatically earned $5.00) and I have read and replaced to 2 emails and now have a $5.52 in my account. Only $24.48 more and I can request a check be sent. The ONLY down side is I have to wait for the emails. I am hoping that more come, because this isn’t too bad.

#3) Naming Website URL's or Domains

#3) Domain Naming – www.pickydomains.com Now, while there seems to be a lot written about this site, I really can’t say either way. Most of the people who have written articles that this site is a scam are complaining because they have submitted domains that weren’t approved. Well.... it is called, Picky domains, not easy to think of, very common, or even... nonsense domains. One SCAM crying even said, that they submitted 100 domains and none of them were accepted. Guess what, if your domains were so great, why don’t you pay to register them and then resell them. That is what Pickydomains does. They look purchase great domain names, then they sell them to the highest bidder. I myself have submitted 30 domains in the last 2 days... and while all have passed the requirements, non have been accepted. I am waiting.... because I am always thinking...

#4) Become a Mock Juror

Well, the verdict is still out, I have signed up for all three of these online virtual jury websites and non of them have cases in my area. Hhhmmmm.... but I’m waiting. It seems like a great opportunity to do something interesting. So I will wait for my first assignment.

In closing, I like the idea of the virtual jury, and I think my opinion is worth the time that it takes for me to form an educated decision... but like real juries... I guess I have to wait until they call me.

Here's the rule of thumb people.... NO MATTER HOW COMPELLING THE AD, If you have to pay to register, or for a packet, or for ANYTHING... then don't do it. I didn't have to pay a red dime for the 4 opportunities I listed above. I did create new email addresses and tried to stay away from providing too much information...

Did I get $15.00/hr. no. Did I earn money? Yes. If I sat at my computer with the music blaring and I worked for 8 hours straight could I buy a tank of gas.... probably.

Easy Money is a relative term. What is easy for me... may not be easy for you and vice versa.
